Fallout New Vegas Loading Screen Freeze: Tips and Tricks to Avoid It

This fix works on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Following the instructions in the video and shutting off your autosaves will solve the problem, but it will happen again when the game autosaves even when you turn them off (Leaving Caesar's tent does this for example) but just delete the new autosave before the next loading screen and you'll be fine. =xwdsH9B1um4&t=1s184.64.52.183 07:05, January 24, 2017 (UTC)

Another thing that apparently causes the infinite loading screen is saving while being inside the textures, for instance when using 'tcl' console command. You will have to start a new game (as explained by NinjaPeanut above), load the problematic save, and arrange to return to a normal placement for your character. Saving and then exiting the game worked for me. Gaeryus

For what it's worth, the 'forever' loading screens and the lag after fast travel/going from one game world to another seems to be directly related to the size of your currently saved game. For example, you can have all DLCs installed and have accomplished almost everything in the game and your save file could be around 12 to 14 Mbs. However when you start a new game, your saved game will be extremely lower than this, like around 900 Kbs. This is probably why in a new game you can play for awhile without any issues (except known bugs, like Nash not leave the Casino in Primm after you re-establish law there). Because of all the issues with this game, it might be wise to complete only 2 of the DLCs per playthrough to help keep the file size down. Again for what it's worth, hope this is helpful. --Kid Ego 22:17, October 3, 2011 (UTC)

Hello, I am having some troubles getting TTW to work with my mod list. I am getting frequent crashing or freezing during loading screens in megaton. It seems to work with only TTW installed so it is probably some incompatibilities with some of my mods or my load order.

I have the latest versions of NVSE, NVAC, NVSR and JIP LN installed. No Fallout 3 mods installed. However after I followed the performance thread I also have the loading screen crash/freeze on TTW without any additional mods active. Also if I try to load a save right outside vault 101 which previously worked fine as far as I know, now plays the new vegas intro before crashing or freezing.

I trimmed down my load order a little and checked my ini files. Editing my ini files through MO helped quite a bit, I managed to get through 8-9 loading screens without any problems, however the last one ended up with a black screen with audio in the background.

Users have been getting the Fallout New Vegas Infinite Loading Screen and it prevents them from being able to load and get into the game to start playing. Therefore, in this article, we have delved into this issue and have compiled some solutions that will help you to determine and work out different methods that will resolve this infinite loading screen.

You must be curious as to why this issue is caused in the first place and we are here to tell you that the Fallout New Vegas infinite loading screen Windows 10 issue or its instance on any other operating system is mostly caused due to faulty or misconfigured mods. Some other reasons are highlighted below as well.

Hi! I was trying to fix this for hours now but i can't seem to find a solution. The problem is when i try to go to solstheim from skyrim its fine but when i try to go back i will get an infinite loading screen with no background on it. It seems weird because when i try to release my follower their and wait for it to travel to skyrim and then i move to her using player.moveto i can go back pretty fine.

*Edit: I thought i found the cause by disabling better dynamic snow and flora overhaul since i get passed through but then i tried to return back and forth to solstheim and skyrim several times and Alas! the infinite loading screen occurred. If someone can read my papyrus log for me i will be grateful, I suspect that the locational damage that i uninstalled a week a go is now backfiring up and bloated my precious save file.

Fast travel does not work, the only work around is to release your follower and then moveto that npc, but still after 30 minutes of playing the infinite loading screen will occur somewhere in skyrim no crash or freeze though. Also my papyrus log can reach up to 100mb in just 30 minutes! I guess it's time to start a new game :(

One of the common issues amongst ASUS users is their ASUS tablet stuck on loading screen. The tablet stays stuck on the loading screen and it will not move past that no matter what you do. This basically turns your device useless as you cannot boot it and perform any actions on it.

If you are one of the users experiencing the issue on your tablet, here we have some solutions that you can apply and possibly fix the problem on your tablet. This guide explains some of the reasons for ASUS tablet stuck on loading screen and what you can do to resolve the issue.

The first thing you can do to fix the AT&T ASUS tablet stuck on loading screen issue is to soft reboot your device. It refreshes your system and gives it a new chance to create problem-less files on the system.

When you turn on your ASUS tablet, it follows a specific routine to start all its services. If something goes wrong with this routine, it can cause your ASUS tablet wont boot stuck on loading screen issue. You can use Tenorshare ReiBoot - Android Repair that helps you easily and quickly reboot your device into the recovery mode so you can hard reset it. Once your tablet is reset to the factory settings, it will work as it should and it will fix the ASUS ZenPad P027 tablet stuck on loading screen issue.

4.) There are instances in which the game starts freaking out after a loading screen. You'll be greeted by a black screen and a huge fps drop when it finally loaded up. Try turning around and go back where you came from. Then immediatly save your game, quit out via the psn button and restart your console. Although you can restart the game immediatly after quitting out you're almost guaranteed a freeze. Save before taking huge quicktravel voyages from one corner of the mojave to another!

New Vegas Anti Crash is the real important one for having a crash-free life. Fixes a bunch of things and is the best thing ever since bacon was first tasted by the food gods. If you are experiencing crashes, this is the first thing everybody should try. If you have the infinite loading screen bug, this combined with the Script Extender fixes it.

I just joined Apple Arcade and downloaded 2 games: Projection: First Look as well as Shinsekai Into the Depths and both games are stuck on the loading screen. I have an Apple TV HD (4th generation) model A1625. I am using a SteelSeries Nimbus Wireless Gaming Controller. Anyone else have these issues?

Thanks turingtest2, but the problem I have is on my Apple TV, not on a Mac. But I did find the answer somewhere else on the community board. If a game (especially a new game) is stuck on the loading screen on an Apple TV, the solution is to sign out of Game Center, load the game and then sign back in. That worked for me just fine.

As expected, a new big name game comes with its fair share of bugs and crashes right at launch, and the 4X Civ series is no exception. Some of the most common (and frustrating) currently occuring are long Civilization VI load times or the game just not responding at all. What's supported and what's notThe system requirements have taken a serious upward trajectory with this entry in the series. DirectX 11 is specifically required, so if your card doesn't support DirectX 11, you aren't going to be playing Civ VI without getting stuck at the loading screen. You'll also need to be running Windows 7 or higher, as XP and Vista are specifically not supported.

If you have absurdly long Civilization VI load screens where it's just stuck loading forever in Windows 10, the most common issue seems to be with a critical game file being blocked either by Windows Defender.

In the early days of video games, the entire game could (and indeed had to) fit into memory at the same time. However, as game data grew larger, this became impractical. So game developers found ways of making games that only use a portion of the game's full data at any one time during gameplay, to avoid loading screens. 2ff7e9595c
